Sell digital products online — no shipping step, no platform fee
Mark an item Digital in your catalogue and checkout skips the address and shipping screens entirely — the customer goes straight from cart to payment. It's charged to your own Stripe, PayPal or Klarna account, captured the instant it succeeds, and Olmira takes €0 platform fee on the sale.

What actually changes when a product is digital
One more type in the same catalogue
Checkout skips the shipping step outright
Captured instantly, marked complete on the spot
€0 platform fee, same as everything else
A digital product looks like any other, until checkout
Set an item's type to Digital and everything about listing it stays the same as a physical product: a price, a description, images, variants with their own SKUs if you need them, and customer reviews with moderation. It sits in the same catalogue, on the same storefront pages, and it can carry the same coupons, bundles and volume discounts as anything else you sell. The difference only shows up once a buyer actually checks out.
Straight to payment — and what happens after
When every line in a cart is digital, Olmira drops the address and shipping steps completely — the buyer goes from their contact details to paying. That payment is captured immediately, never held for later, and the order is created already marked fulfilled, because there's no shipment to wait on. What Olmira does not do today is attach or email the actual file, licence key or access link for you — that part is still on you. In practice that means the order and the customer's email are exactly what you'd use to send it yourself the moment the sale notification arrives, the same way you'd already answer any other order.

Not today. Checkout takes the payment and marks the order complete instantly, but sending the actual download, licence key or access link is still a step you do yourself once the order lands — the same order and email address you'd use for anything else.
Yes. The shipping step only disappears when every line in the cart is digital. Add one physical item and the whole order goes through the normal address-and-shipping flow.
It's always captured immediately. There's no deferred-capture option for a digital-only cart, because there's no later fulfilment step to wait for.
Yes — coupons, percentage and fixed discounts, bundles and volume pricing all apply to digital items exactly as they do to physical ones. See coupons & discounts.
No. Digital products are part of the online store, which ships with Commerce on the Pro plan and above — the trial covers the website builder and AI, not the store.
Any priced item you don't ship — a download, a licence key, access to something, a digital service. You choose the type when you create the product.
